Muncie’s Bridge Dinner

Inspired by Peter Kageyama’s “Love Where You Live” presentation in March (view video), organizers have come back together to plan something fun for the city we love!

Walk, bike, or drive to the Washington Street Bridge on Thursday, September 28 for a memorable evening that will include:

  • Great Muncie neighbors of all ages
  • Food and drinks for purchase from area food trucks and breweries
  • Live music by the Muncie Community Schools high school jazz band
  • Muncie Map Co., Funcie, and Speak Munsee t-shirts for sale
  • A one-of-a-kind view of the bridge, Cardinal Greenway, and White River

When: Thursday, September 28, 5:30 – 7:30 pm
Where: Washington Street Bridge (map)
Who: Open to the entire community – all ages!
Attire: Wear your favorite Muncie apparel (or purchase t-shirts at the event)
Cost: No cost to attend; food and drinks available for purchase.  Pre-registration is appreciated on Eventbrite.

What about rain?

The event is weather-permitting, so cross your fingers for sunshine! Watch the Facebook event page for weather updates.

Where should I park?

Parking for the event will be available behind the Rutter building (Washington & Liberty), around Tuhey Park, and in the business parking lots just east of the bridge. A huge thanks to those neighboring businesses for sharing their lots with us!

Will I need a ticket?

Let us know you are coming by pre-registering on Eventbrite. You will not need to present your ticket in order to attend.
